FoWS - Friends of Whitley School
Friends of Whitley School (FoWS) is a group of committed parents of pupils at the school who work together to raise money in order to supplement our fortunate pupils with enhancements to their school experiences.
The children directly benefit from every penny raised by FoWS for experiences such as a whole school theatre trips, subsidised transport for class visits, new books, new equiment for Early Years, maintenance of the oudoor play area, equipment for Gardening Club and a variety of other wonderful trips and items.
They run a weekly Lotto with cash prizes available, in addition to a Christmas party, several discos and dress-down days and a variety of other events throughout the year.
We are hugely grateful to FoWS for the wonderful work they do. They are always trying to recruit new members, so please get in touch with school if you are interested in helping out.
