Another busy week in class 1. I can't quite believe we have been back 4 weeks! The time has flown by. This week we have been thinking about man made and natural materials in science and about the invention of the car in humanities. The reception children enjoyed racing some cars down a ramp we made and leaving lots of lovely tyre tracks and marks. The year 1 children enjoyed ordering photos of cars from the first car to modern day cars. They have also designed their own car as part of D&T project. In maths we have begin thinking about multiplication in year 1 and we have been finding out all about shapes in reception.
Well done to our stars this week:
Madeleine for putting 100% effort into everything.
Darah for a great understanding of the different sound 'y' can make in phonics.
Milly for growing into a confident reader.
All of reception for some amazing shape work.
I hope you enjoy looking at our photographs. Hopefully I will see lots of you at tomorrow's stay and play session.
