Wk ending 29.4.16

Well the second week of the summer term is done. Transition dates for new starters are in the diary and the children are all working incredibly hard to get themselves ready for next year. This week we celebrated:

Sophie for a beautiful puppet in DT.

Jacob for excellent division in maths.

Indigo for great humanities work. 

Tori for knowing 2 digit numbers to 100.

This week reception have made cress heads, designed super hero capes and they have been learning the days of the week. Please can you practice the months of the year and teach your child when there birthday is if they don't already know. Year 1 have begun learning about the 7 continents in humanities, made super finger puppets in DT, have been learning about story writing in English and have looked at division in maths. All of the children enjoyed creating their own cress head. Let's hope they grow!
