The 1st Visit

Hello! I hope you enjoy reading the very first blog. I had a lovely afternoon and it was so nice to meet everybody properly. I hope that all the children had as much fun as I did! A big thank you to all the parents and grandparents who stayed and played this afternoon. It was lovely to get to know you all too. 

This afternoon the time flew! The children began by looking at books and introducing themselves by saying good afternoon to each other. We then went and had some busy time. The children went on the I-pads and the computers. They created pictures and models with the play dough. Some children even played with the dolls house and the bricks! They were very busy bees. After some super tidying up we read 'Charlie's superhero underpants!" The children were brilliant at talking about the story. Poor Charlie had lost his underpants because they had blown off the washing line. He eventually found them after travelling the world! I wonder if you can remember who was wearing them. 

At the end of the afternoon the older children came down with their letters. The buddies were all really excited to meet their new friends.

Next week we will explore our outside classroom and get to know our buddies a bit better.
